  • A 60-minute evaluation is a flat fee of 150 dollars (USD)

  • For one 30-minute session, there is a flat fee of 65 dollars (USD). Sessions can vary in length and frequency dependeing on what evaluation results dictate, clinical judgment, and client expectations/availability. Typically, the rate will increase as time per session increases.

  • A consultation is a free service that is provided virtually for 15 minutes. This is an informal conversation with the provider to determine a need for a screening or an evaluation.

A screener is a pay-per-service option for those who don't want to pay the full price for an evaluation but would like to know if an evaluation is necessary. A screener has the option of being in-person but ONLY if you live in the Gwinnett County, GA area.

An evaluation is a formal diagnostic assessment that is used to determine a diagnosis of a communication "disorder". I say "disorder" in quotations because a severity rating on a diagnostic assessment does not determine whether or not someone is impaired. Clinical judgement will be used (along with diagnostic materials) to determine if a speech and language impairment is present. If you request an evaluation, a formal 3-5 page report will be given within 1-2 weeks of testing with the therapist's signature.

  • No, an evaluation is always required before treatment can begin. HOWEVER, if you have had a diagnostic evaluation performed by another provider within the last 6 months, then treatment will be considered.

  • We are credentialed in CA, IL, FL, GA, CO, MD, and SC. As long as you live in one of these states virtual services can be provided. If you leave your state of residence (vacation etc.) then virtual services would have to be paused until you return to your state of residence.
